Machine Operator/Assembler
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator/Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial equipment and assembling components with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities
Operate machinery such as press brake machines, CNC lathes, CNC machines, and plastics extrusion equipment to produce components according to specifications
Set up and adjust programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and robotic systems for optimal machine performance
Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments and dimensional measurement techniques to verify product specifications
Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring proper materials handling and storage practices
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on industrial equipment including plastics blow molding, injection molding machines, and fabrication tools
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
Document production data, measurements, and quality control reports accurately for process improvement
Experience
Prior experience in plastics production such as injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion is highly preferred
Hands-on knowledge of machine operation including CNC machining, press brake operation, and robotic system integration
Familiarity with industrial troubleshooting techniques for mechanical and electrical issues on manufacturing equipment
Ability to perform precision measurements using tools like calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments for quality control purposes
Basic math skills necessary for setting up machines and interpreting measurement data
Warehouse experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is advantageous
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
