Job DescriptionLocation: 100% RemoteEligible States: Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Georgia, New MexicoEmployment Type: Contract-to-HireDuration: Temp to PermCompensation: $28–$35hr W2About the RoleOur client, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking Medical Coders across multiple specialties to support physician (profee) coding operations in a fully remote capacity.We are hiring for a variety of specialties including:CardiologyOrthopedicsEndocrinologyPodiatryEvaluation & Management (E/M)MultispecialtyThis role is focused on high-volume production coding and requires strong expertise in CPT, ICD-10-CM, and coding accuracy.What You'll DoPerform physician (profee) coding across assigned specialty or multispecialty areasCode high-volume charts while maintaining 95%+ accuracyAssign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentationApply E/M leveling where applicableReview documentation and ensure coding complianceResolve coding edits and support clean claim submissionCollaborate with providers, HIM, and internal teamsMust-Have Requirements2+ years of recent medical coding experienceProfee (physician) coding experience requiredStrong knowledge of:CPTICD-10-CMHCPCSExperience working in a production environment (high-volume coding)Ability to maintain 95%+ accuracyExperience with EMR systems (EPIC strongly preferred)Must reside in: TX, LA, AR, GA, or NMCertification required (CPC or equivalent) – must provide verificationPreferred QualificationsSpecialty coding experience (Cardio, Ortho, Endo, etc.)E/M coding experienceExperience with high-dollar or complex accountsEPIC + 3M encoder experienceIMPORTANT – This Role is NOT a Fit If:Your experience is primarily:HCC / Risk AdjustmentCDI / Documentation ReviewBilling or CollectionsYou are not actively coding full charts dailyInterested?Apply directly or send your resume.Qualified candidates will be contacted for a quick screening.
