Additional Position Details: FTE: 1.000000 | Full Time | 2nd Shift - Swing Salary Range: $23.28 - $32.02Shift Differentials$1.44 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm$2.55 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am$1.27 extra for working weekendsPosition SummaryThe Lead Sterile Processing Tech coordinates the Sterile Processing Services functions and staff to assist surgical services and other hospital departments as it relates to reprocessing, decontamination, sterile preparation, storage and distribution of all instruments, trays and sets. The Lead Tech also provides support to the department manager and team leaders to effectively carry out the vision and function of the department.QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as needed for the position is requiredExperienceMinimum 2 years of previous SPS experience working with instruments, steam, sterrad and ETO gas sterilizers, surgery cart systems and instrument decontamination is requiredKnowledge of sterilization practices, instrumentation, decontamination processes, medical/surgical supplies and patient-related equipment requiredCertificationsCSPDT: Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician requiredCRCST: Certified Registered Central Service Technician, preferred\Total Rewards We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support your well-being and professional growth, including:Competitive Pay: Hourly and salaried positions earn market-based compensation.
