Varnish Repair Associate 2nd Shift

Position Summary:The Varnish Repair Associate finishes all the wood and trim going into the boats. This position will use various woodworking tools, such as; hand held router, table saw, band saw, miter saw, sander and varnish materials. This must be accomplished by following the manufacturing specifications while working in a safe and organized work environment. We are looking for a dependable, personable individual who has the ability to work alone or with a team. Must have an eye for details and quality.Job Responsibilities:Withminimal supervision, sanding and varnishing units per specifications prescribed on the Tiara Yachts work instructionsMust be able to read and understand units of measureCommunicates the current product, process or material constraints or issues to the team leaderMust be accustomed to physical tasks for long periods of time. This includes, but not limited to, standing, kneeling, lifting up to 40lbs, bending, using your hands and working with various materialsMust be able to see colorWhen asked, assists with training team members to develop job knowledge and improve performancePerforms other related duties as assigned by supervisor and/or managementEducation and Experience:Varnish Sander Associate:High School graduate or equivalent preferredGeneral Job Requirements:Pass a background check, drug test and physicalAbility to work overtime as requestedPromote a safe and clean work environmentWillingness to work on a team or individuallyAble to follow manufacturing instruction and understand processesMust practice PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies as mandated per area. (Use safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, etc.)Must follow company safety guidelinesMust be fluent in the English language
