Facets QA / Test Architecture Lead (Healthcare Payer)Location: RemoteEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob ID: 00068642321About the roleAs a Senior Test Architect, you will design and own the end-to-end testing architecture for Facets-based healthcare payer systems, ensuring quality, scalability, and reliability across claims processing, integrations, data migrations, and modernization initiatives.In this role, you will:Design and own the end-to-end Facets test architecture, covering functional, integration, automation, batch, API, and data migration testingDefine testing approaches for key Facets modules, including Claims Adjudication, Membership, Billing, Provider, and EAMEstablish robust integration- and batch-oriented testing strategies for inbound and outbound Facets interfaces across upstream and downstream systemsDefine and govern test data management strategies, including synthetic data creation, masked production data usage, and high-volume data validationLead test automation strategy and framework selection aligned to Facets UI, batch processing, APIs, and integration layersCollaborate closely with Solution Architects and technical teams to ensure testability of Facets configurations, customizations, and integrationsProvide architectural guidance on performance, scalability, regression, and non-functional testing strategiesAct as the technical authority for complex defect analysis, cross-system issues, and root-cause investigationsEnsure testing strategies align with healthcare regulatory requirements, including Medicare, Medicaid, and payer-specific standardsSupport cloud, CI/CD, and modernization initiatives by integrating test architecture into automated delivery pipelinesWork modelThis remote position offers flexibility and a commitment to a healthy work-life balance through wellbeing programs.What you need to have to be considered10–12+ years of overall testing experience, including 7–9+ years in healthcare payer systems5+ years of experience designing and leading Facets testing architecturesDeep understanding of Facets modules, claims processing, integrations, and batch-oriented workflowsStrong experience across test automation, test data management, and large-scale system testingProven ability to provide technical leadership across complex, multi-stream delivery environmentsThese will help you stand outExperience supporting cloud migrations and CI/CD-driven test automationExposure to AI-enabled testing, analytics, or intelligent test designStrong analytical problem-solving skills and executive-level stakeholder communicationPrior experience working in large-scale payer transformation or modernization programsSalary and Other CompensationAnnual salary range: $132,000 – $155,000, depending on experience and qualifications.Eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance.Legal work authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
