Fall 2026 Events Marketing Intern
Duration: September 14th - December 11th Hours: Part Time (Daily Start and End Time Flexible)Compensation: $15/hour (Academic credit can be arranged through Institution)As an Event Intern at Avkin, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team dedicated to transforming healthcare education. You’ll gain hands-on experience in event planning, coordination, and execution while supporting conferences, trade shows, and other industry events. This role also includes planning and executing social media content, with a focus on LinkedIn, for upcoming fall events.In this position, you’ll develop strong communication, event logistics, and project management skills, helping ensure smooth operations from start to finish. This internship will equip you with a versatile skill set applicable to careers in event planning, marketing, and beyond.Job Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Head of Events Marketing to coordinate tradeshow efforts.Work with preferred vendors for coordinating and booking essential elements for conferences.Collaborate with the Head of Events Marketing to coordinate and book travel for events.Work alongside graphic designer or execute event social media content.Organize and update marketing inventory regularly.Support the planning and execution of a one-day educational event.Support in planning the in-person company wide team building event held in October.Qualifications:Current college student or recent graduate with some related Marketing, Event Planning, or Hospitality, experience desired.Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.Self motivatedAbout Avkin:Avkin is revolutionizing the healthcare simulation industry.
