Urology Physician
This locum Urology position provides full-time inpatient call coverage across three facilities due to ongoing recruitment challenges. Providers will be cross-credentialed to support all locations, handling general and emergent urologic cases in a multi-site hospital system. The role offers a long-term assignment with consistent call responsibilities and strong APP support.Dates/ScheduleStart: As soon as credentialed (approx. 60 days)Duration: 6 9 monthsSchedule: 24-hour call shifts with Open coverage windows include:6/1 (AM) 6/4 (AM)6/11 (AM) 6/16 (AM)6/23 (AM) 7/8 (AM)8/5 (AM) 8/17 (AM)8/31 (AM) 9/11 (AM)10/23 (AM) 11/6 (AM)11/13 (AM) 11/16 (AM)11/24 (AM) 12/2 (AM)12/16 (AM) 1/1 (AM)Job Details & ResponsibilitiesProvide inpatient urology call coverage across three hospitals (Level 1, 2, and 4 trauma centers)Manage 6 8 consults per day with APP support handling daytime rounding and initial ER calls (8 AM 5 PM)Perform procedures including cystoscopy, lithotripsy, nephrectomy, transurethral resection, prostatectomy, and pyelolithotomyHandle primarily emergent surgical cases during call; non-emergent cases deferred to next-day surgeonsWork with a team of physicians, APPs, RNs, and MAsAccess to robotic systems (XI and SI) and block OR timeUtilize EPIC EMR for documentationRequired Skills & QualificationsBoard Certified in Urology (REQUIRED)Washington state license (HIGHLY PREFERRED); IMLC or in-process licenses acceptedBLS certification (REQUIRED)Clean malpractice/background (HIGHLY PREFERRED)Ability to cover multiple facilities and respond within 30 minutes (REQUIRED)Preference for local candidates (no flights)NPDB self-query report within 30 days (REQUIRED)
