As we continue to grow, we’re strengthening our partnerships and expanding our ability to serve with excellence.We are seeking an Insurance Verification & Authorization Specialist to support our Homecare team by ensuring patients receive timely access to the services they need.What You’ll DoIn this vital role, you will be the bridge between patients, providers, and payors—ensuring services are authorized, documented, and communicated efficiently.Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements prior to admissionSubmit and manage prior authorization requests for services including home health, therapies, hospice, palliative care, medical equipment, and medicationsMaintain accurate and timely documentation in designated systemsCollaborate closely with Service Coordinators, case managers, and billing teamsMonitor and follow up on pending authorizations to prevent delays in careCommunicate clearly with patients, families, and referral sources regarding coverage, denials, and financial responsibilitiesAssist with appeals and identify alternative coverage resources when neededStay current on insurance regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care requirementsSupport compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standardsContribute to quality improvement initiatives and team collaboration effortsWhat We’re Looking ForHigh school diploma required; Associate degree preferredExperience in insurance verification, billing, accounts receivable, or managed care preferredKnowledge of Medicaid, HMOs, and insurance processes in home care strongly preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to manage complex, evolving informationExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and problem-solve effectivelyFamiliarity with medical terminologyWhy Join Absolute?Be part of a mission-driven organization that values compassion and dignityWork alongside a supportive, collaborative teamMake a direct impact on patient access to careGrow your career in a stable and expanding healthcare organizationIf you’re ready to bring your skills to a team that truly values the difference you make, we’d love to hear from you.Apply today and be part of something meaningful.
