If you enjoy working with people, teaching, and hands-on activities, this position may be a great fit.Position Details:Pay: $18/hr + tipsAge Requirement: 18+Schedule: Must be available on weekends; additional shifts as needed.Responsibilities:Provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming environment.Assist guests with crafting projects and offer instruction on variety of projects, including working with kids and families.Teach Rug Tufting, Decoden, Fluid Art, Beading Art, Candle MakingMust feel comfortable leading partiesOperate the register, handle transactions, and perform basic math accurately.Keep the workspace clean, organized, and efficient.Adapt to a variety of customer needs and personalities.Support retail operations such as restocking, tidying, and understanding product basics.Work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needsProvide detailed product information and answer customer inquiries effectivelyUpsell and recommend products to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunitiesMaintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environmentProcess transactions accurately using point-of-sale systemsManage stock levels, restock shelves, and assist with inventory countsCollaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and ensure excellent customer serviceStay informed about new products, promotions, and store policies to better serve customersPerform front desk duties such as: taking phone calls, creating/canceling reservations/partiesPreferred Skills, Experience, & Qualifications:Experience in customer relations (required).Experience teaching or leading groups (preferred).Basic crafting knowledge (preferred).Retail experience is a plus.Comfortable teaching and working with children.Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essentialUniversity experience is considered a strong advantage, demonstrating strong communication and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with customersStrong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitudeAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if necessaryA positive attitude, professionalism, and a genuine interest in helping customers succeedWorking knowledge of Rug Tufting, Decoden, Fluid Art, Beading Art, and/or Candle MakingPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry up to 25–30 lbs.Ability to move quickly and multitask efficiently.We Are Looking For Someone Who Is:Fast-paced and highly efficientFriendly, patient, and adaptableA strong communicatorComfortable speaking with and teaching customers of all agesReliable and punctualTo learn more about our studio, visit www.tutufuncc.comSend your resume and cover letter to craftingstudiola@gmail.comJob Types: Part-time, SeasonalBenefits:Employee discountFlexible scheduleWork Location: In person
