Job Description OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a vital member of our medical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the well-being of patients in both Level I and Level II trauma centers. Your expertise will be crucial in medication administration, patient assessment, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.DutiesAssess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Provide care for patients in various settings, including inpatient units and trauma centers.Perform venipuncture and other necessary procedures to facilitate patient care.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.Assist in specialized procedures such as sonography and dialysis when required.Support patients with ophthalmology needs, providing appropriate care and referrals.QualificationsCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.Experience working in a Level I or Level II trauma center is preferred.Proficiency in medication administration and patient monitoring techniques.Strong skills in venipuncture and other clinical procedures.Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.Ability to ventilate patients when necessary, demonstrating proficiency in emergency care protocols.Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.A compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on improving health outcomes.Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients through exceptional nursing care!Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $37.00 - $45.00 per hourBenefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
