As the Cook, you will be responsible for the Hot Foods Department and its Efficiency. You will cook, prepare, portion, and quality control using HACCP guidelines and customer expectations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in time management, daily planning, inventory controls, with organizational and cleaning skills. Duties and Responsibilities: Adhere to a strict dress code: supporting health and safety guidelinesPlanning a weekly menu with manager and cold foods departmentAble to cooperate and work in a team environmentMaintain sanitary standards (HACCP) for department per managementAbility to operate and maintain kitchen equipmentFollow recipes, create uniform entrees per company SOPs and improvise menus to accommodate dietary needsComminate effectively and professionally with team and managementParticipate in daily kitchen opening and closing proceduresQualifications: Passion for Cooking!At least 3 years of cooking experience. i.e.: fryer, ovens, grill, flat top and rangeClean driving record and valid drivers licenseAbility to remain calm and thrive under pressures.Able to lift 70 lbs. and standing for long periods of timeStrong communication and problem-solving skillsValid Serv Safe CertificationAdvanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipesExcellent time management skills
