Through our nine locations across Texas and Kansas City, MO, we provide a comprehensive array of products, services and integrated systems that help our customers streamline the storage and movement of their goods.The intern will assist with financial analysis and reporting projects, including commissions, inventory, budgeting, margin analysis, and cost allocation across departments. Key deliverables include standardized templates for RPOs and usage agreements, detailed margin and cost allocation models, and actionable insights from data analysis. These efforts aim to improve accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in financial processes, supporting better decision-making across the organization.Essential FunctionsSupport financial analysis and reporting initiatives across multiple business areasAssist with commission analysis and reportingConduct inventory reviews and analysisProvide budgeting and forecasting supportAnalyze margins and identify trends or opportunitiesHelp develop and maintain cost allocation modelsContribute to improving financial accuracy, efficiency, and transparencyAll other duties assignedQualificationsThe ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting (at least 12 credits of accounting, 3 credits of finance, and 3 credits of business law), or a related field.Has strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis) and basic knowledge of SQL for querying and managing data.The intern should demonstrate attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to learn quickly.Strong communication skills, time management, and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.Physical DemandsThe physical demands and working conditions requirement indicated below are examples of the demands that must be performed in carrying out the essential job functions.Physical DemandsOffice employees typically sit for long periods and perform tasks that require fine motor skills, such as typing or using a mouse.
