Warehouse Associate

Role Overview: As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in our vinyl siding production facility by facilitating efficient shipping and warehouse workflows. Your daily tasks will include managing order preparation, handling truck loading and unloading, tracking inventory via scanning, and ensuring production lines remain stocked with necessary materials. Maintaining a tidy workspace and strictly adhering to all safety protocols are essential components of this position. Primary Duties: Assemble and ready goods for outgoing shipments Transfer finished inventory onto transport vehicles Update inventory records by scanning items into the system Transport finished pallets from the manufacturing floor to storage areas Ensure production lines have a steady supply of packaging and boxes Receive incoming freight and place items in designated storage zones Safely utilize forklifts and other warehouse machinery to improve operational efficiency Conduct regular inventory audits to keep storage racks orderly Secure pallets with wrapping to ensure orders are ready for transit Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by keeping the facility clean Qualifications: Capacity to lift loads weighing as much as 60 lbs Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and use ladders Willingness to work in a manufacturing setting that involves noise and dust Availability to commit to 12-hour shifts on a rotating basis Possess forklift skills or the aptitude to earn certification Fundamental computer literacy for inventory management software like SAP or UPS Commitment to following all safety protocols and wearing required protective gear Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting Comfort working in environments with varying temperatures and exposure to dust or noise Required Proficiencies: Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) knowledge Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering principles Experience within Food and Beverage Manufacturing Expertise in Shipping and Receiving processes Proven background in warehouse operations Experience working as a Material Handler Proficiency in loading and unloading transport vehicles Skill in handling heavy materials Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
