We are the best-in-class, trusted partner delivering customer-centric Power Delivery Construction and Engineering solutions.About The RoleThe Manager, Distribution Engineering role will be based in Colorado and is responsible for leading day‑to‑day distribution engineering operations, ensuring quality delivery, supporting client needs, and developing engineering staff within the assigned market.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day‑to‑day oversight of electric distribution engineering and design deliverablesMentor and develop supervisors, engineers, and field staff to strengthen leadership capability and technical depthEnforce design standards, QA/QC processes, and safety expectationsFoster a strong team culture focused on accountability, ownership, and continuous improvementClient Engagement & Service DeliverySupport client relationships, ensuring reliable service deliveryPartner with leadership to scale programs, staffing, and execution across the regionMonitor contract performance, schedules, and delivery riskBusiness Development & Growth Support expansion of design work, including reliability and revenue-driven initiativesContribute operational and technical input to pursuits, estimates, and client discussionsIdentify opportunities to expand services and improve delivery efficiencyOrganizational & Continuous Improvement Drive improvements in processes, policies, and delivery workflowsSupport operational discipline tied to utilization, resourcing, and cost awarenessStrengthen business acumen and administrative rigor within the teamBusiness Development FocusGrowth Areas: Central US Electric UtilitiesHardening/Resiliency programsReliability programsRevenue-generating distribution initiativesQualificationsElectrical Engineering background strongly preferredMinimum of Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred; equivalent distribution engineering experience will be consideredPrior experience leading engineering teams within utility distribution, EPC, or consulting environmentsStrong understanding of electric distribution systems, utility standards, and safety requirementsProven ability to mentor and develop engineers and supervisorsClient‑focused mindset with growing business acumenEffective communicator with the ability to balance technical detail and leadership decision‑makingMinimum: 8–12 years total relevant experienceWith at least 3–5 years in a leadership or people‑management roleWe do not accept unsolicited resumes or candidate submissions from third-party recruiters or staffing firms.
