Armed Security Officer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed while effectively managing any potential threats or conflicts. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or other criminal activity. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary. Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to oversee premises and maintain security. Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all individuals on-site. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals in emergency situations. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports on incidents. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property. Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques, ensuring a peaceful resolution whenever possible. Qualifications Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is preferred. Military background is a plus, demonstrating discipline and commitment to duty. Strong knowledge of surveillance systems and conflict management techniques. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-stress environments. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with others.
