We have over 200 SCORE offices nationwide and 10,000 volunteers offering free business mentoring and low-cost workshops.SCORE San Francisco was chartered in 1965. SCORE's thousands of working and retired business professionals have volunteered to support the success of small businesses nationwide. SCORE business mentoring is free and confidential, and limited only by the business's needs, not by any pre-ordained number of sessions.We provide Free, confidential business mentoring via video, in person, or email. Volunteer mentors who share their expertise across industries. Free business tools, templates and tips online Inexpensive or free business workshops (locally) and webinars (online 24/7),SCORE Capital Corridor (based in Sacramento), and the San Francisco/East Bay chapter are seeking experienced professionals to join our volunteer mentor team. Both chapters are an active chapter of SCORE, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping small businesses start, grow, and succeed.Capital Corridor serves 21 counties across Northern California, from Stockton to the Oregon border, including inland communities. SanFranciscoEastBay serves 15 coastal counties north to Oregon. We are looking for individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areasBusiness PlanningDigital MarketingSocial Media StrategyLegal ServicesAccounting & FinanceStartups and EntrepreneurshipAs a SCORE volunteer mentor, you will receive comprehensive training, access to SCORE’s extensive library of educational webinars and workshops, and the opportunity to work one-on-one with entrepreneurs and small business owners. This is a rewarding way to continue using your skills and experience while making a meaningful impact in your community.In addition, we welcome volunteers who are interested in taking on expanded roles through chapter leadership, event planning and participation, fundraising activities, and other committee participation.
