Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Madison, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,336 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in critical care with multiple ICU units required License: WI RN or compact RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required - AHA only Must-Have: Experience with multiple ICU units (Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc.) Must be competent in accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of the patient on ECMO, care of ventilated patients, and central line care. Must be prepared to pass a telemetry test prior to start. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse who will work evening and night shifts. The position requires 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Every other weekend shifts will be required. Experience in various ICU settings is essential. Candidates should have experience managing a high-acuity patient population in critical care settings. Acceptance into the program requires successful completion of a telemetry exam prior to beginning. The exam includes identifying lethal rhythms and interpreting dysrhythmias with strict passing criteria. Applicants must demonstrate strong skills in the management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and failure. Critical thinking and the ability to make quick decisions are essential for providing optimal patient care in this environment.
