Right Price.Position: Junior EngineerPayrate: $25-$28/hr. on W2Location: Edina, MN (Hybrid)Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)Job OverviewThis role is part of the Solar Design team. You will be responsible for designing and upgrading electrical distribution systems to support solar interconnections. Key responsibilities:Performing field site checks at homes and businessesResearching maps and developing upgrade plans (pole-to-pole, pole-to-house upgrades, transfer upgrades)Creating detailed designs using GISPreparing cost estimates and handing them over to the engineering groupManaging multiple design and construction projects simultaneouslyRequirementsMust Have:Strong multitasking, organization, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and be personable/well-spokenBackground in Construction, Engineering, Mapping, or Field Staking (or a combination with a relatable degree)Experience dealing with customers in the fieldPreferred / Nice to Have:Utility design experience (especially distribution)GIS experienceSAP experienceUtility construction experience (not residential home construction)Why Work With Us?We believe in more than just jobs—we build careers.
