The company values integrity, quality, and a team-oriented environment.Role DescriptionUtilize construction management software (SharePoint) to keep project information up-to-date and easily accessible for all staff.Help organize and process subcontractor bids.Assist in managing RFI inquiries.Receive, organize, distribute, and file project documents.Update databases to ensure all parties have current information and maintain bid sets for reference.Update and maintain a directory of subcontractors and suppliers.Assist with subcontractor/supplier approval and setup.Manage and maintain insurance certificates for both specific project folders and bookkeeping files.Code invoices and submit to the bookkeeper for review.Answer phones and take messages/direct phone calls to appropriate parties.Assist in preparing new hire paperwork.Handle special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.Education, Skills, & QualificationsMust be eligible to work in the U.S. (required)High school diploma or equivalentExperience in administrative support preferred, but not required.Experience in construction (residential or commercial) preferred; will train the right candidate.Excellent execution, task completion, follow-up, written and verbal communication, and time management skills required.This position requires resourcefulness, a willingness to learn, and strong organizational skills.Meet deadlines with a positive, professional attitude; an enthusiastic team player who eagerly welcomes feedback.Must exercise initiative and achieve objectives with minimal supervisionMust be detail-orientedProfessionalism and discretion in handling confidential informationStrong computer skills required, including proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Outlook and ExcelSharePoint experience preferred, but not required.Microsoft Project experience preferred, but not required.Physical RequirementsThis is primarily a sedentary office position that requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry office materials/supplies weighing 25lbs or less.Ability to sit for long periods of time.Compensation & Benefits$20 - $24/hour, DOEEligible benefits, after a 60-day probationary period, are as follows:o Employer-sponsored 401(k)o Excellent group health insuranceo Dental insuranceo Life insurance (for those enrolled in group health insurance)o Paid time offo Paid holidays (6 annually)
