These teams are designed for exceptional speed, autonomy, and ownership across the software delivery lifecycle.This role is responsible for scaling AI-native engineering practices, aligning delivery outcomes to business objectives, and building high-performing teams that operate within regulated insurance environments.You will partner closely with technical leads, product stakeholders, platform teams, and executive leadership to drive innovation, operational excellence, and intelligent automation across the organization.What You’ll DoAI-Native Delivery LeadershipLead and develop multiple AI Solutions Engineers and domain delivery teams.Drive adoption and scaling of AI-driven engineering practices and autonomous delivery workflows.Support teams building AI-native systems using agentic workflows, automation, and AI-assisted development tools.Ensure delivery quality, velocity, and operational resilience across multiple business domains.Strategy, Planning & ExecutionAlign engineering delivery to strategic business objectives within New Business operations.Drive workforce planning, hiring strategy, and talent development for AI-native engineering teams.Partner with leadership and the AI Steering Committee to shape enterprise AI delivery strategy.Manage priorities, delivery risks, resource allocation, and execution planning.Architecture, Governance & ComplianceOversee cloud-native and AI-enabled solution delivery on AWS.Ensure teams operate within HIPAA, SOC 2, and State DOI compliance requirements.Support governance standards for AI-driven delivery pipelines, security, auditability, and operational controls.Guide build-vs-buy decisions, vendor evaluations, and technology investment strategies.Collaboration & Organizational LeadershipPartner with product management, business stakeholders, platform teams, and vendors to deliver intelligent business solutions.Drive cross-team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and engineering consistency.Communicate delivery progress, risks, and strategic opportunities to executive leadership.Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, accountability, and continuous improvement.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).8–12 years of software engineering and technology leadership experience.Proven experience leading technical teams in fast-paced, cloud-native environments.Strong background in AI-driven engineering practices, intelligent automation, or AI-native delivery models.Deep understanding of AWS architecture, modern software delivery, and scalable engineering operations.Experience operating within regulated environments such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar frameworks.Strong strategic planning, organizational leadership, and talent development experience.Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and resource planning.Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in the Austin, TX area.Why Join Us?Competitive salary + annual bonus opportunity401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage20+ days PTO plus paid holidays and volunteer time offHybrid work environmentProfessional growth in a rapidly evolving AI organizationCollaborative, fast-moving culture focused on innovation and impact
