The Role
From supporting internal teams to developing next-gen materials, our professional roles span strategy, innovation, and purpose. At CNG, you’ll do work that matters—and own it all.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Business hours
Location: Delaware, OH
What You'll Do
Design processes and equipment related to the creation of products or services that are cost effective
Simplify and standardize the manufacturing process to improve quality of products
Implement process designs by creating prototypes, conducting testing , making modifications and perfecting processes
Ensure safety requirements are integrated into processes by conducting assessments
Provide problem solving methodology to Operators, 5 why, fishbone, 4 box and A3.
Implement continuous improvement on the production floor, including 5S, lean, and visual management
Support the launch of new products through the development of new tools and processes
Assess whether or not existing equipment is capable of producing proposed products and when needed, modify equipment to accommodate new products
Lead investigations of customer complaints to determine root cause and implement corrective and preventative actions
Provide Analytics defining process improvement projects, action items, progress and the results of related projects
Lead and Manage MDI data trends and action list
Ensure repro consumption is optimized
SOC and schedule optimization through direct hands-on support on the shop floor
Comply with all BRCGS Standards and Standard Operating Procedures
What You’ll Bring
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
8 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Plastics Industry, or related field
Proficient in all Microsoft Office products
Experience providing troubleshooting skills
Possess logic, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment
Deals effectively with company personnel on all levels ranging from production workers to Operations Leadership
Demonstrated skill in organizing work, setting priorities and sound decision making
