Assistant Project Manager

We currently have multiple Assistant Project Manager opportunities with top-tier general contractors in the DFW area.Summary:An employee at this level should be able to lead the project team on small projects (under $500k in value) with limited risk.This level is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of multiple construction projects simultaneously.Directs and supervises work of project engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, etc.This individual could also be part of a larger project team supporting the team leader on project management duties and responsibilities.Skills:Strong, professional communication skills, both verbal and writtenAttention to detail and ability to effectively track complicated tasks involving many parties to timely completionProven track record of meeting deadlinesMulti-tasking is a mustAdvanced understanding of preconstruction process, estimating, and buy-outEffective management of client relationshipsAbility to identify customer's needs intuitivelyExperience managing 1-2 direct reportsEducation or Experience:Bachelor's Degree3-8 years of commercial construction experience
