Our brand is built on exceptional design, craftsmanship, and a consultative, high-touch client experience.Job DescriptionPosition OverviewWe are seeking a Sales Manager who is both a leader and coach, someone who can elevate a team of experienced Design Consultants while holding a high bar for performance, accountability, and customer experience.This role is ideal for a professional with a strong backbone in leadership, the ability to make sound decisions and enforce standards, and a passion for developing top-tier talent. The Sales Manager will drive results by fostering a culture of value-based selling, ensuring our team consistently delivers a premium, consultative experience aligned with our brand.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and mentor a team of experienced Design Consultants to consistently achieve and exceed sales goalsProvide hands-on coaching focused on consultative, value-based selling, not price-driven transactionsEstablish a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvementConfidently address performance issues and enforce company policies with consistency and integrityPartner with the General Manager to recruit, hire, and retain top-tier sales talentSales Performance & StrategyDrive all key sales metrics, including revenue, close rates, and average order valueAnalyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvementPartner with leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives, including trade partnerships and business developmentEnsure proper pipeline management and CRM usage with a high standard of data integrityCustomer Experience & Brand StandardsEnsure the team delivers a premium, consultative client experience at every touchpointUphold brand standards in design, communication, and service deliveryReview client feedback and proactively address any concerns to protect the brand reputationCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Operations to ensure seamless execution from sale through installationCollaborate with leadership on process improvements and business initiativesLead and facilitate sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviewsQualifications5+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably leading experienced or senior-level sales professionalsProven success in coaching and developing high-performing sales teamsStrong decision-making skills with the ability to hold firm on standards and expectationsDemonstrated success in value-based or consultative selling environments (premium/luxury brands strongly preferred)High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountabilityExperience in industries such as interior design, home improvement, remodeling, or other high-touch residential services is highly preferredStrong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance metrics and drive strategyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAdditional InformationWhat We're Looking ForA leader, not just a manager—someone who develops people and raises the barComfortable leading tenured, high-performing team membersSomeone who thrives in a premium brand environment, where experience and quality matter more than priceA professional who can balance empathy with accountabilityCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $120,000 – $150,000Health InsurancePaid Vacation, Holidays, and Sick Time401(k) PlanCA Privacy Policy - California Privacy Policy - California ClosetsTerms and Conditions: https://www.californiaclosets.com/terms -conditions/
