Research Analyst

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Research Analyst who supports data-driven decision making and organizational performance initiatives through advanced analytics, reporting, and visualization capabilities. This position is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that support strategic planning, operational efficiency, and program performance management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience developing business intelligence solutions, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders across federal government environments. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain performance dashboards and program reports. Translate business requirements into KPIs. Analyze data to identify trends and insights. Provide clear, actionable data visualizations using tools such as Power BI. Support strategic planning and performance management initiatives. Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree (MA/MS), with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, OR Relevant technical certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a formal degree. Relevant experience includes data analysis, performance management, business intelligence, and dashboard development. Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in support of federal government agencies. Experience with the USCG or DHS is preferred. Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification required.
