Professional Land Surveyor

Overview We are seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in North Carolina to support boundary, construction, and site development projects in the Pitt County area. This role will lead survey operations, review field data, and provide stamped deliverables for engineering and land development clients. Key Responsibilities · Perform and oversee boundary, ALTA, topographic, and construction surveys · Prepare and review plats, legal descriptions, and survey drawings · Sign and seal survey documents in compliance with NC regulations · Manage field crews and coordinate project schedules · Work closely with engineers, developers, and municipal stakeholders · Ensure QA/QC standards and regulatory compliance Requirements · Active North Carolina Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license · 5+ years of land surveying experience preferred · Experience with GPS/GNSS, robotic total stations, and survey software · Strong knowledge of boundary law, plats, and site development · Valid driver’s license · Leadership and project management experience preferred Preferred · Experience managing survey crews or projects · Civil/site development or infrastructure experience · CAD or Civil 3D experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $51,737.98 - $62,308.11 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
