Basic QualificationsMinimum of 5 years Non-Destructive Inspection Testing experience and Documented previous NAS-410 Level II Training and OJT. This role combines hands on inspection work, technical problem solving, continuous learning, and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the highest standards of quality and mission readiness.What You Will Be DoingAs a Senior Nondestructive Testing Inspector, you'll perform advanced inspections using multiple NDT methods while supporting some of Lockheed Martin's most innovative aerospace programs. You'll work alongside highly skilled inspectors, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure aircraft structures meet the highest quality and performance standards. Key responsibilities include:Perform nondestructive inspections using Penetrant, Radiography, and Ultrasonic testing methodsSet up, operate, and maintain advanced computerized NDT equipmentInspect metallic structures, composite assemblies, bonded components, and weldmentsInterpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements to ensure product qualitySupport development and continuous improvement of inspection techniques and proceduresCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issuesAssist in training and mentoring developing NDT inspectors through on the job instructionMaintain compliance with NAS 410 certification requirements, quality standards, and safety proceduresWho You AreThe ideal candidate is an experienced Nondestructive Testing professional who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and technical excellence. Ability to conduct OJT for trainees. Penetrant and Magnetic particle experience in aerospace setting. Ability to develop written techniques and procedures for approval by an NDT Level III. Must be able to demonstrate and pass general, specific, and practical examinations in above mentioned methods. Experience in robotic operated NDI equipment preferred. Experience in NDI testing various materials such as: Composite Structures, Metallics, Bonded Assemblies, and welds. Experience with Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and computerized workstations. Must have experience in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
