Wisconsin Youth Apprentice - Nurse Assistant - Waupun Memorial Hospital

Assists with administrative and clinical duties of a physicians office from general office procedures to the technical phases of examining room assisting and elementary medical laboratory techniques. Job Responsibilities and Requirements:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Responds to patient inquiries both in person and via telephone. Schedules patient appointments. Maintains patient records and perform administrative tasks. Sets up area for exams/procedures and room patients. Instructs patients in the collection of specimens. Assists in performing testing under the supervision of staff. Assists physician with patient care for routine examinations. Cleans and prepares supplies and instruments. Maintains inventory. Obtains vital signs. Respects patient confidentiality and maintains Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance. Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
