About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Financial Services Expert Witness to provide independent, objective analysis and testimony in legal matters involving banking, lending practices, and financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have deep industry expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and prior experience serving as an expert witness or in litigation support.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze complex financial documents, transactions, and industry practicesPrepare detailed expert reports, opinions, and rebuttals for legal proceedingsProvide deposition and courtroom testimony as requiredCollaborate with legal teams to develop case strategy and technical argumentsInterpret financial regulations, compliance standards, and industry normsAssess damages, risk exposure, and fiduciary responsibilitiesStay current with evolving financial laws, regulations, and market practicesBasic QualificationsMinimum 10-15 years of experience in financial services (e.g., banking, compliance, or risk management)Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas:Banking operations and lendingFinancial regulations and complianceElectronic payments, banking, and financial technology, including processing, security, and fraud preventionPrior experience serving as an expert witness or supporting litigation strongly preferredStrong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and testimonyAbility to explain complex financial concepts clearly to non-expertsPreferred QualificationsAdvanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fieldProfessional certifications such as CFA, CPA, FRM, or similarExperience with regulatory bodies or enforcement actionsFamiliarity with litigation procedures and expert witness standardsAdditional InformationJob Family/Level: Op Level 5 - Managing DirCitizenship Status Accepted: Not ApplicableExempt or Non-Exempt?: ExemptCompensation* Minimum Pay: 0* Maximum Pay: 0
