The role:
- Lead preconstruction from early design through to buyout and handover to operations
- Produce conceptual and detailed estimates, budgets and cost plans
- Drive value engineering and constructability reviews with architects and engineers
- Build integrated schedules and help shape the delivery strategy for each project
- Manage bid packages, subcontractor outreach and procurement
- Work directly with clients and leadership to win and shape new workWhat they’re looking for
- Preconstruction, estimating or senior estimating experience with a commercial GC or CMA strong track record across New England, ideally on the North Shore or Greater Boston
- Experience across a mix of sectors such as commercial, healthcare, industrial or multifamily
- Confidence in front of clients and design teams
- Strong subcontractor relationships across Massachusetts
- Someone who cares about getting the budget right, because they know it affects the client’s bottom line
