Title: Commercial Lines Insurance - ManagerLocation: Princeton, NJ (ON SITE)Salary: $180,000k - $200,000k + RELOCATION ASSISTANT + bonus*Our client is offering a relocation package for individuals*Summary: The Commercial Lines Insurance Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery, growth, and profitability of the commercial insurance portfolio while ensuring exceptional client service and operational excellence. This role leads and develops the commercial service team, maintains strong client and carrier relationships, and supports sales and retention strategies. The Manager serves as a subject matter expert across commercial lines coverages and ensures compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Great opportunity for either an experience Commercial Lines Manager or a Sr. Account Executive who has supervisory/team leader experience to take the next step in their career.If interested, please send resume to sschneider@solomonedwards.com – All resumes will be held confidentially and nothing will be shared with anyone without your consent and approval.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and manage the commercial lines service team to ensure high-quality client service and consistent execution of deliverablesMaintain overall accountability for client relationships, including retention, satisfaction, and ongoing coverage optimizationOversee renewal processes, coverage reviews, policy placements, and endorsements across commercial lines (e.g., General Liability, Property, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Umbrella)Partner with producers and leadership to support new business development, account expansion, and revenue growth initiativesNegotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with carrier partners to secure optimal coverage solutions for clientsServe as a technical resource and subject matter expert, providing guidance on complex risks, coverage structures, and market trendsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, carrier guidelines, and internal operational standardsMonitor workflows, service timelines, and performance metrics to drive efficiency and continuous improvementSupport training and development initiatives to enhance team technical knowledge and client-facing capabilitiesCollaborate with marketing and leadership teams on client communications, reporting, and strategic initiativesQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in business, insurance, risk management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience10+ years of commercial lines insurance experience, including account management and/or underwriting exposurePrior leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong technical knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and market dynamicsActive insurance license required (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe)Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, or CIC preferredSkills & CompetenciesProven leadership, coaching, and team development abilitiesExcellent client relationship management and communication skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAnalytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilitiesProficiency in agency management systems and Microsoft Office applicationsThe specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
