Brief Description of Job and Division/Department The Morris County Library seeks a part-time Mail Clerk in the Shipping & Receiving department who can work 20 hours per week with the following fixed schedule: Monday through Friday, 10 am to 2 pm. The salary for this position will be $20,436 and is not negotiable. All part-time employees receive a generous benefit package that includes paid vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays. The Morris County Library is a division of Morris County government and is a prominent member of the Main Library Alliance cooperative. EOE/AA/ADA Employer. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Duties include packing and unpacking delivery bags carrying library material pushing book carts driving a county vehicle lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Qualifications While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Applicants must have a valid New Jersey Driver's license.
