Responsibilities
Treatment Planning: Creating and reviewing individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
Therapeutic Intervention: Providing individual and groups to modify behaviors and develop coping skills.
Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical research findings and best practices in behavioral health.
Case Management and Advocacy: Coordinating care with external agencies (e.g., probation, residential facilities) and ensuring clients needs are met.
Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Supervision: Overseeing associates and paraprofessionals to ensure services meet ethical and clinical standards.
Prevention & Education: Developing programs for community health and educating families on mental health or addiction.
Experience
Proven experience providing mental health counseling in outpatient or inpatient settings with a focus on behavioral health or clinical counseling.
4 year Degree with a Mental Health or Substance concentration.
Certified Peer Support Specialist
