We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager for our Diamond Bar office. This role is designed for a professional ready to transition into a leadership capacity, bridging the gap between technical execution and project management. You will work under the guidance of senior management to execute key objectives, manage critical project issues, and ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborative Development: Work closely with senior members to learn about and assist with complex transportation engineering and planning work, ensuring alignment with firm standards.Technical Oversight: Manage the design and review of traffic signal design, signing, pavement delineation, traffic control, roadway lighting and ITS plans.Project Execution & Management: Lead project tasks, maintain strict schedule and budget controls, and oversee the production of plans and technical reports.Quality Assurance: Review work produced by junior staff to ensure it meets the highest professional standards and adheres to both firm and client quality control protocols.Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise project personnel and provide active mentorship through counsel and knowledge sharing. You will play a vital role in the professional development of junior staff.Business Development: Support marketing activities, including proposal contributions and maintaining client relationships to foster firm growth.BenefitsMedical, Dental, Wellness, 401k Plan, Flexible Hours, Paid Holiday, PTO days, and Profit Sharing Program are eligible for permanent full time employees.Pay Range: $45-$65/hrEqual Opportunity EmployerMore info about our company can be found at www.linconsulting.comRequirementsExperience: 5–8+ years of professional engineering experience specifically in traffic engineering.Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Licensure: EIT certification, and California Professional Civil Engineer (or ability to obtain within 6 months).Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Caltrans and City of Los Angeles PS&E (Plans, Specifications, and Estimates) is highly desirable.Communication: Excellent technical writing skills and the ability to deliver effective oral communication to clients and stakeholders.Certification Plus: Registered California Traffic Engineer (T.E) is highly desirable.J-18808-Ljbffr
