Benefits Administration Consultant Requirements5+ years of hands-on experience as PeopleSoft Functional Benefits Administration, Payroll, HR Consultant. Which includes: general deductions and savings plans, personal data and job data2+ years public sector and higher-education experienceExperience configuring and testing retirement plansExperience working with 3rd party providers of retiree billing servicesExperience with LOA and COBRA benefit billingExperience with integrations and third party vendors is necessaryTechnical experience is required - the consultant needs to be able to review and write sqlAbility to review app engine and sqr code is not required but will be helpfulPeopleSoft Benefits Specific Requirements:Configuration of Benefits Administration (Benefit Programs, Benefit Plans, Benefit Events, Rate $$$.$$ $$$.$$s and Calculation Rules )Affordable Care Act with integration to 3rd party administratorConfiguration of e-BenefitsConfiguration of Life EventsConfiguration and testing of retro benefit processingExperience in all project phases including:Conduct / Document Business Process RequirementsFacilitate Fit/Gap sessions to determine configuration and identify potential customization's (with a goal of minimizing customizations)Author functional specification documentsFacilitate configuration and application security decisionsConfigure the system to meet the USG business requirementsDevelop/document test conditions, scenarios, and scriptsConduct system and integration testingProvide knowledge transfer to USG team membersAdvise on options, risks, and any impacts on business processes or systemsExperience with PeopleSoft version 9.2Deep understanding of setup tables, integration points and reportingStrong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation and facilitation skillsExperience implementing best practicesExperience with PS Query and SQL is neededProactive in completing the job assigned with little direction and be adaptable to changing job requirementsAbility to work cross-functionally with variety of people to accomplish goals and support othersExperience with MS Word, Excel and Visio - Excel vlookup is also a preference as we will be converting data from the Institutions and comparing against what is in the Institutions databases to confirm date converted correctlyPlease submit two rate proposal if needed; One rate for onsite and one rate for offsite.Assignment Description Inactive Date Background VerificationStandard Background Verification(Required for all new proposals)Global Monitor CheckUpon candidate selection:State Criminal Record (7 years)Federal Criminal Record (7 years)SS Name Search* Plus any additional reports if listed 'Yes' below *(Suppliers Only)To order, click on the link to the right:Order Standard Background VerificationMotor Vehicle Report (MVR)Drug Screening (5 Panel)Employment Verification (previous 3 years)Education Verification (last degree earned)US Criminal Record LocatorOIG/GSA SearchInternational Criminal SearchInstructionsThe completed Background Verification will be attached (via an automated feed) to the candidates user profile under the Attachments Section.Please make sure to always include the applicable proposal ID, contract ID, or requisition ID in the reference field when ordering.
