Job Description Company Description Kellwell Food Management, a Correctional Food Service Provider is now hiring a Food Service Supervisor at the Hardin County Jail located in Elizabethtown . This is a Full-Time position with benefits. We have weekly pay and the starting rate for this position is $16.00 an hour.Role Description We are looking for a food service supervisor to oversee inmates in preparing the meals for the day. Your job duties will include, but not limited to:* ensuring recipes are followed. * ensuring correct ingredients/amounts are used. * following food safety standardsWe supervise and work with non-violent inmates. Experience is bulk cooking facilities is preferred, but not required.Qualifications* Experience in Food Preparation, Culinary Arts, and Food Sanitization * Familiarity with Food Safety Protocols, Nutrition Standards, and Compliance Regulations * Ability to work in a structured environment and adapt to a correctional facility setting * Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills * Previous experience in correctional food service is a plus * ServSafe Certification or equivalent is preferredMUST PASS BACKGROUND AND DRUG TEST TO WORK IN CORRECTIONAL FACILITY
