Job Description:Overview:We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a high-acuity, Level II trauma setting. This role is ideal for a surgeon experienced in managing complex traumatic injuries and performing life-saving procedures in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide surgical and non-surgical care for traumatic orthopedic injuriesPerform emergency and trauma-related procedures in high-acuity settingsParticipate in shared trauma call rotation (including nights/weekends)Collaborate with critical care, neurosurgery, and emergency medicine teamsContribute to trauma quality improvement and registry activitiesMaintain accurate and timely EMR documentationSupport teaching and mentorship (if applicable)Qualifications:MD/DO from an accredited institutionBoard Certified/Eligible in Orthopedic SurgeryFellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma preferredActive or eligible Florida medical licenseATLS certification requiredStrong decision-making and communication skills in high-pressure environmentsPreferred Experience:2+ years post-fellowship trauma experienceExperience in a Level II Trauma CenterFamiliarity with trauma registries and quality programsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salary + performance incentivesFull health, dental, vision, and life insuranceMalpractice with tail coverageCME allowance + paid time offRetirement plan (401k/pension)Relocation assistance available
