Cybersecurity Developer Location: RemoteContract Type: Freelance / B2BStart Date: ASAPWe are seeking a Cybersecurity Expert to serve as the primary technical reference for cybersecurity across an industrial product portfolio. This role combines security architecture, secure development, and compliance work, ensuring products meet IEC 62443-4-2 and EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) requirements throughout their lifecycle.You will work closely with R&D, Product Management, and external auditors to strengthen cybersecurity practices and support both internal teams and customers.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the main point of contact for cybersecurity matters across the portfolioSupport audits and communicate technical solutions clearly to auditors and stakeholdersMaintain and improve the overall cybersecurity architectureWork with developers and architects to implement security requirements in secure communication, authentication, and system hardeningOwn vulnerability and patch management, including SBOM maintenance and dependency updatesMaintain cybersecurity documentation for audits, customers, and internal useAnalyze customer security requirements and translate them into technical actionsRequired Skills & ExperienceProficiency in C++, C#, Python, and scripting (bash/PowerShell)Experience with Linux-based embedded systems, distributed architectures, and DockerBackground in cybersecurity for industrial, embedded, or IoT environmentsKnowledge of secure communication, certificates, authentication, and authorizationFamiliarity with ISO/IEC 27001 and IEC 62443 standardsExperience with CVE tracking, security patching, and dependency managementIf you have a strong background in embedded or industrial cybersecurity and want to take ownership of security across a full product lifecycle, we'd like to hear from you.
