Qualifications:I-CAR Pro Level 1 Non-Structural and Refinishing Technician Certification-ASE Non-Structural and Refinishing Technician Certification-Minimum of 3 years work experience in the auto body repair and refinishing. Have considerable work experience in all aspects of the auto body/collision repair field.-Must meet all qualifications for the appropriate license though the Illinois State Board of Education. *We can provide application forms and guidance on how to apply for the CTE license. Candidates must meet one of the following:Option A: Valid Illinois Professional Educator License, current and registered in DuPage County, with endorsement in Auto-body/Collision and Repair Technology/Technician plus a minimum of 2 years of directly related work experience. Option BCTE License: Provide official transcripts (to be sent to DuPage ROE) showing 60+ semester hours from a recognized institution (emailed or sealed, unopened envelope required) + 2,000 hours of documented work experience in the skill area.Option C: Provisional CTE License: 8,000 hours of documented work experience in the specific skill area to be taught.
