Sr. Project Manager

Title: Sr. Project Manager Location: Remote, NY Duration: 6 months Job Description: The Senior User Access and Training Project Manager, PMO role requires an individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and will apply principles, techniques and best practices in the planning, organizing and implementation of high-profile and complex projects or programs. The candidate will direct the end-to-end development and execution of Epic training programs, including identification of users, curricula development, enrollment, logistical issues, and access provisioning. In addition, he / she will partner with security and technical teams to resolve complex user access dependencies, streamlining role-based provisioning to ensure clinicians have the right tools without compromising data integrity Minimum Qualifications: The Senior Project Manager within the Program Management Office require an individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills that will apply principles, techniques and best practices in the planning, organizing and implementation of high-profile and complex projects or programs. The right candidate must have experience preparing and managing project documentation, including scope, schedules budgets, and quality. This individual must possess sound judgement, professionalism and diplomacy. General Tasks And Responsibilities Will Include: " Formulates the project or program management plan, in accordance with the scope, budget, timing and quality as set by stakeholders " Specifies the resourcing of the project, anticipated costs, risk assessment and quality standards to be used " Leads the project team in terms of quality, spend, time, information and organization, monitoring progress and managing all assigned project resources " Reports on Issues and Risks and may take ownership of same through to resolution " Produces Project/Program Status Reports " Continually follows up with internal and external project team members " Directs assigned project resources and gives them operational guidance, technically and organizationally " Potentially responsible for the direct management of Assistant Directors and Junior Level Project Managers " Coaches and manages PMO staff and project team(s). Preferred Qualifications for The Job: CERTIFICATION(S)/NYS LICENSE(S): " HEAVILY PREFERRED: Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification desired " Certified Scrum Master Knowledgeable In: " Budget Management " PM tools, i.e. MS project, Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio Other Preferred Skills: " Experience working in a Hospital setting/Healthcare Organization " Experience working in an Agile work environment Educational Level: " Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology discipline with an emphasis on planning, liaison and inter-organizational relationships, or related administrative or managerial functions Years of Experience: " 8-10 years' experience in IT Program Management
