Duration: 6 month CTH Must Haves/Key Notes: Strong Databricks exp. is a must Job Description: We are seeking an IT Platform Administrator to join a cross-functional application support team supporting enterprise platforms and data solutions. This role will be responsible for ensuring platform availability, performance, security, and operational stability, with a strong focus on Databricks administration and support. Key Responsibilities Administer, support, and maintain Databricks and other enterprise platforms. Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health. Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and vendors. Manage user access, permissions, and platform security in accordance with organizational policies. Support platform upgrades, patches, releases, and maintenance activities. Maintain system documentation, compliance controls, and change management processes. Identify opportunities for automation, operational improvements, and self-service capabilities. Partner with developers, QA teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful platform operations. Participate in an on-call production support rotation. Required Qualifications Experience supporting or administering Databricks in an enterprise environment. Experience with production support, platform administration, and incident management. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS. Experience managing system access, security roles, and permissions. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience working with SQL and relational databases. Ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ETL and data integration tools such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or AWS Glue. Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or SQL. Familiarity with DevOps, SDLC, and ITIL processes. Healthcare or health insurance industry experience. Experience with disaster recovery, compliance, and audit controls. Summary: This is a hands-on platform administration and support role for someone with strong Databricks experience who enjoys troubleshooting, maintaining enterprise applications, managing platform operations, and working closely with technical and business teams to ensure a stable, secure, and high-performing environment.
