This role is ideal for someone with practical experience in electrical testing, especially with transformers or inductive components. You’ll be responsible for performing electrical tests, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring product quality and performance – directly on the shop floor.Responsibilities & TasksPerform electrical tests on transformers and other products using standard equipmentDiagnose and resolve electrical issues in production assembliesVerify product performance and energy efficiency based on defined specificationsRead and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawingsCalibrate and maintain testing equipment according to scheduleDocument basic test results and support quality reportingCollaborate with production staff to ensure smooth testing workflowsFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work areaRequirementsAssociate degree in electronics, electrical technology, or equivalent technical trainingMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical testing or diagnosticsFamiliarity with transformer systems or inductive components preferredAbility to use standard test equipment confidentlyComfortable reading schematics and following test proceduresBasic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word)Strong attention to detail and reliability in documentationPhysically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feetMust be able to stand, bend, walk, and reach above shoulder levelGood hearing (naturally or with aids) and vision (20/20 with or without correction)Comply with all health and safety standards as required by BLOCK and applicable federal, state, and local lawsBenefitsFull time employment with a permanent agreement in a continuously growing global companySocial benefits offered by our company (co-payment for healthcare & pension plans, as well as fully funded additional insurance plans)An equally independent and challenging work environment that offers a wide range of tasks and career perspectivesApply now - we look forward to meeting you!BLOCK USA, Inc.10632 W.
