Calvary Chapel Parkland is hiring a Part-Time AV Technician, and this role is about much more than sound, lights, and making sure the mystery cable is plugged into the right mystery port.We’re looking for an experienced live production and AV operator who has a heart for ministry first.This person will help run sound, lighting, and video, assist with maintenance and repair of A/V equipment, keep equipment organized, and support weekly services, funerals, memorials, adult education, men's/women’s ministry, and special events.But the bigger calling is this: To help create distraction-free environments where people can worship Jesus, hear God’s Word, and be served well.We’re looking for someone who:Loves Jesus and His churchHas experience in live production and AVWorks well with staff, volunteers, and the church familyIs skilled with audio, video, lighting, computers, and related equipmentCan take direction and work with limited supervisionHas flexibility, strong time management, and a servant’s heartCan help build a healthy, joyful volunteer cultureMinistry is beautiful, but it is not always easy. It includes evenings, weekends, special events, physical work, last-minute troubleshooting, and serving behind the scenes when most people never see the effort.But for the right person, that’s part of the joy.“Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.” Psalm 100:2This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position, approximately 25–30 hours per week. Applicants should be able to bend, sit, stand for extended periods, and lift, pull, push, or move up to 75 lbs.
