Overnight Maintenance MechanicLocation: Longmont, COPay: $42/hourJob Type: Direct Hire | PermanentPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support preventative and corrective maintenance across all plant equipment, including conveyor, processing, and packaging systems. This role is critical to maintaining safe, reliable operations in a GMP-regulated food manufacturing environment, ensuring equipment performance, food safety, and regulatory compliance.The ideal candidate has strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities, a safety-first mindset, and hands-on experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and corrective maintenance, including work orders, inspections, and lubricationInspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace processing and packaging equipment to minimize downtimeMaintain and repair conveyor systems (belts, bearings, motors, gearboxes, mechanical drives)Troubleshoot pneumatic systems (air cylinders, valves, diverters, hoses)Complete equipment changeovers, startups, shutdowns, and line clearancesSupport sanitation and equipment readiness for food safety complianceAccurately document maintenance activities using computer-based systems (CMMS)Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, manuals, and work instructionsFollow all OSHA, EPA, GMP, safety, and Lockout/Tagout proceduresRequired Skills & ExperienceProven mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing settingStrong understanding of preventative and corrective maintenance practicesAbility to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic systemsExperience working with conveyors and packaging equipmentComfortable following SOPs, GMPs, work orders, and technical documentationStrong safety awareness in a regulated environmentPreferred Qualifications3+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience(2+ years considered with food manufacturing experience)Prior GMP or food manufacturing experienceExposure to PLC troubleshootingWelding and fabrication experienceKnowledge of hydraulicsStrong computer and documentation skills (CMMS experience preferred)Why Join Our TeamUp to 4 weeks of vacation in your first yearVery low-cost medical benefitsBrand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facilityClean, modern, and organized work environmentSchedule designed to support work-life balanceWork Schedule & Environment2-2-3 rotating scheduleNight shift: 6:00 PM 6:30 AMInitial training on day shift for approximately 60 daysClimate-controlled, newly built facility with modern equipmentCompensation$87,360/year ($42/hour)This is a Permanent position based out of LONGMONT, CO.The pay range for this position is $87360.00 - $87360.00/yr.Offers comprehensive employee benefits designed to support physical, financial, and emotional well-being, with many benefits starting on the first day of employment.
