This role also assists with packing responsibilities when screen-printing tasks are not available.Core ValuesBe eager to learnDeliver above and beyondBe a team playerFocus on solutionsEmbrace change Success ProfileGets it, wants it, and has the capacity to do it Essential FunctionsScreen PrintingSet up and operate screen-printing equipment according to production schedules and customer specificationsPrepare and maintain silk screens, including cleaning, coating, and exposing screens as neededCreate new screens for upcoming projects, ensuring accuracy and qualityApply inks and decorative materials using screen-printing techniques Setup and OperationEfficiently set up screening operations in conjunction with packing line lead personnelFollow all work instructions for assigned screening jobsMaintain a pace consistent with production and quality standards Screen Preparation and MaintenanceMaintain screens and store them in designated locationsEnsure all required production materials (inks, screen wash, etc.) are available throughout production runs Quality ControlInspect printed products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specificationsAdjust equipment and processes as needed to maintain high-quality outputDocument and report defects or discrepancies identified during inspectionsEnsure all quality standards and procedures are followed Maintenance and Equipment CarePerform routine maintenance on screening equipment to ensure optimal performanceEnsure screening equipment operates efficiently during production runsNotify lead personnel or supervisors of non-standard materials, products, or conditions immediatelyMaintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and environmental regulations Packing ResponsibilitiesAssist with packing products when screening tasks are unavailablePack products accurately and securely according to company standardsLabel and organize packed products for shipping and distribution Safety and ComplianceFollow all safety protocols and proceduresReport unsafe conditions immediately to lead personnel or supervisors Documentation and ReportingMaintain accurate records of production activities, machine settings, and maintenance performedSubmit production counts for each work order in a timely manner CollaborationWork closely with the production team to coordinate schedules and prioritize tasksCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project status and operational issues Workplace OrganizationFollow 7-S policies and procedures while meeting established goalsMaintain a neat and orderly work area to promote safety and efficiencyParticipate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives Work EnvironmentExposure to a noisy and fast-paced manufacturing environmentRequired use of PPE, including safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and steel-toed bootsAbility to work under production deadlines and changing priorities Additional ResponsibilitiesParticipate in required training programs to enhance skills and knowledgePerform other assigned duties as necessary to support team goals and operations Job QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious screen-printing or related manufacturing experience preferredFamiliarity with screen-printing equipment, materials, and processesStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityBasic understanding of manufacturing safety procedures and regulationsAbility to lift and handle heavy objects as required
