FILLED Family Birth Center Manager

DescriptionThe OB Manager will oversee the Obstetrics and Nursery departments, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and staff performance. This role requires a leader who can balance clinical expertise with strong management skills, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage daily operations of the OB and Nursery departments.Collaborate with executive leadership to implement best practices and process improvements.Provide mentorship and development opportunities for nursing staff.Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource management.Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.RequirementsGraduation from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.Current Colorado Registered Nurse License (or compact state RN license).Minimum of two years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.Proven ability to manage a rural OB unit with multiple responsibilities.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Experience with implementing new technologies, such as Epic.
