IS&T PPM&G Tools and Methods Architect and LeadThe primary objective of the IS&T PPM&G (Lean Portfolio Management) Smartsheet Architect & Lead is to be the thought leader in the development, maintenance, and continual improvement of a reusable repository of tools, templates, processes, best practices, and methodologies to manage the planning, estimation, and execution of Smartsheet activities across IS&T and Business. You will serve as a trusted solution and technical advisor during the implementation process and provide expertise that ensures successful Smartsheet deployment and adoption. Help shape the direction of the IS&T PPM&G in evangelizing Smartsheet; turning it into a strategic, viable, and supported practice throughout Veolia North America.Guide and mentor team members regarding architecture and best practicesReview and coach team on project designs for design review presentationsSolve complex technical problems in our tools (Smartsheet, Daptiv, Jira, Confluence, other) environment plus improve "Operational Excellence"Influence technical direction of the group towards creating a comprehensive microservices architectureCreate a blueprint and roadmap and lead the teams through an agile process with a hands-on engineering mindsetImprove developer experience by recommending and implementing tools for microservices monitoring/profiling/tracingForge strong partnership with vendors to help influence and shape the roadmapTechnical Lead for the Ideation and technical development of enterprise solutions to automate and enhance business processesBe a recognized Smartsheet technical expert and develop deep Smartsheet relevance (workflow definition, solution design, etc.) for Portfolio and Project ManagementServe as front-line expert for best practice and prospect technical issues, tracking these issues and ensuring prompt follow up and problem resolutionProvide daily operational support, sprint planning and execution, and strategic recommendationsMaintain and evolve training tools and materials to keep them current with the defined architecture and direction of Veolia North America (Continuous Improvement)Evangelize and train/mentor IS&T and Business partners. Provide development goals, promotion guidance and motivationWork with other technical leaders, architects, QA, and product owners across the organization on technical specifications and solution designsManage developer change management process, reviewing changes and signing off on any tests before management approval and production releaseExcellent Communications skills requiredEducation / Experience / Background - BS, Computer Science, Management or Equivalent degree or experience7+ years testing experience in a structured environment utilizing predefined methodologies and/or frameworks as well as automated testing toolsKnowledge / Skills / Abilities - Substantial experience creating MS Excel-based solutions for collaboration/workflow/project management requirements in lines-of-business and/or ITStrong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), with the ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical end user personnel in large enterprisesAbility to quickly build credibility, as well as understand and resolve technical issuesExperience building Enterprise Software and Integrations across multiple functional areasExperience with Agile System Development Methodologies, SDLC, and WaterfallRequired Certification / Licenses / Training - PMI-PMP and/or PMI-ACP Certification preferred but not requiredCSM and/or CSPO preferred but not requiredITIL Foundation preferred but not requiredPhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentAbility to work in an office environmentStanding or sitting for periods of timeUtilization of computer and telecommunication equipmentSome travel required
