Compensation: $40,000 - $60,000 annually Responsibilities: Adhere to all lending and regulatory guidelines and policies while preparing the loan file Assist borrowers in determining the best mortgage type based on interview and situation Document the loan process from origination to approval through our system Collect and verify necessary financial documentation, such as credit reports, to complete mortgage loan applications and determine creditworthiness Act as a liaison between applicants, mortgage brokers and loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to help further loan approval WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Providing elite service to our clients Communicating with clients on loan conditions and statuses via phone or video message Learning investor guidelines, lending policies, and the required documentation, policy and procedures of Madison Mortgage Services Applying knowledge and judgment to detailed loan analyses to offer effective underwriting alternatives to your team Developing strong computer skills, including internet knowledge Managing multiple priorities, while building rapport with clients Qualifications: Mortgage lending experience and loan knowledge required, specifically with FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirement 2 years minimum experience in loan processing required Must possess exceptional attention to detail, as well as strong analytical and time management skills WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Required: Client service experience (phone) Willingness to learn and be coached Adaptable to a flexible, fast-changing industry Desire to collaborate in a friendly, team environment Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Ability to accept accountability for any actions On-site attendance Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a business concentration or other related field.
