Insulation Technician

Job Description At Koala Insulation of The Delaware Valley, we are looking for a motivated, skilled individual who is eager to develop and apply their skills in ways to make a positive impact to our clients. This position within the company is expected to consistently perform high-quality insulation services in attics, on roofs and crawlspaces.Koala Insulation is an insulation contractor providing high-quality insulation services to homeowners, contractors, and property owners.Duties/Responsibilities1. Safety: Adheres to jobsite safety in accordance with all federal, state, and local occupational and health and safety laws. Ensures that rig is safely driven to jobsite locations.2. Operations: Removes and installs insulation and solar fans based on specifications of each job. Follows standard operation procedures with equipment set up and operation. Completes a high quality job while maintaining efficiency. Has working knowledge of all types of insulation installation (blown-in, spray foam, and battes) and consistently performs quality checks.3. Technical: Diagnoses and resolves issues in the field alongside Crew Leader.4. Customer Service: Communicates professionally with customer. Maintains a professional image and thoroughly cleans jobsite upon completion of the job.5. Other: Continuous improvement of customer service, quality, efficiency, and safety. Provides instruction and training to junior team members. Communicates any issues to Crew Leader. Performs other related duties as required.Required Skills/Abilities· Excellent time management.· Ability to troubleshoot, operate, and maintain equipment.· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.The candidate should possess a Growth Mindset as there is a possibility to move in to a Team Lead position as the company grows.Education and Experience:High school diploma/GED requiredPrior experience in construction, manufacturing, landscaping, or related field preferred. Previous Blown-In insulation and spray-foam application is also preferred.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of walking, standing, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and crawling.Working environment may be subject to high temperatures, confined spaces, dust/dirt, hazardous chemicals, and heights.Roofing Experience /Climbing & Working on roofsMust be able to lift 50 pounds frequently.Job Type: Full-timePay: $21.82 - $23.68 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekSchedule:8 hour shiftAbility to Commute:Mount Holly, NJ 08060 (Required)Work Location: In person
