Summary: A Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) performs laboratory tests and analyses to help diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases. They work under the supervision of medical laboratory technologists or pathologists to ensure accurate and timely test results. MLTs are essential in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic laboratories. Responsibilities: Collect blood, urine, and other specimens from patients. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment. Monitor quality control and calibration of instruments. Prepare specimens for testing, including labeling, processing, and storing. Ensure proper handling to prevent contamination or degradation.
