SVP, Variable Technical Projects– Data Centers
For our client, we are seeking a SVP, Variable Technical Projects– Data Centers to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This executive role will lead a data center project management organization, overseeing delivery of complex technical projects with significant operational and financial impact. The position blends team leadership, portfolio oversight, client development, and P&L accountability across large-scale construction efforts. The successful candidate will partner closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to set priorities, manage performance, and drive profitable growth.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $250,000 – $275,000 annually
Responsibilities:
Lead the data center project management team and oversee project delivery Establish annual and midterm priorities and operational plans for the team Drive business development activities and build client relationships Manage the region's P&L and review project-level financials Oversee team performance, workload planning, and career development Serve as the lead technical manager for the project portfolio Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; master's degree preferred 12+ years of project management experience in data center construction Proven experience managing multiple teams and organizational design Demonstrated P&L responsibility and financial risk management Experience leading large-scale projects ($50M+) with significant operational impact Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed
